SUMMARY
HERE's Global Sales Strategy, Planning and Operations (GSPO) team has a broad mission to plan and execute our sales strategies and ensure tight planning and interlock with the vertical businesses and marketing teams. The GSPO team ensures that the required tools, metrics and processes are in place to support success for the global Sales and Business Development organization (SBD), and we align the strategy across business, product and marketing teams throughout the organization.

We are seeking to hire an energetic, creative and critical thinker for a key role in the SBD organization. We're looking for someone who wants to take on challenging and high visibility projects to deliver results across the sales team. This individual will work closely with Sales leadership as well as colleagues across the HERE organization (including Product, Marketing & Finance), affording the opportunity to gain a broad perspective on HERE's business.

The Manager, Sales Analytics and Strategy role requires a self-motivated, highly analytical critical thinker who will support SBDs strategies through data modeling and analysis, uncovering unmet opportunities and providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior leaders. This role's primary responsibilities are to provide sales and financial analysis (including financial modeling), project management, strategic planning, and implementation support for key sales initiatives.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

  •  Define project scope to address strategic questions and collaborate with team to develop analysis approach. Integrate and analyze appropriate internal and secondary data sets to understand drivers of business, develop market insights and uncover business opportunities
  •  Develop and maintain forecast models that allow for scenario analysis of various strategies / approaches. Use models to prioritize across business opportunities
  •  Synthesize findings, develop recommendations and communicate results across the SBD organization and broader company as appropriate
  •  Manage across multiple business priorities and initiatives. 
  •  Collaborate with the Sales Leadership team and numerous functional teams (i.e., Channel, Customer and Market Development, Licensing and Business Operations, Finance, Marketing and Product Development) to facilitate and progress business strategies
  •  Identify secondary data sources and manage external vendors as needed

Qualifications

Education

  •  Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering or similar field
  •  MBA or related Master's degree strongly preferred


Experience

  •  5-7 years of business, marketing, or consulting experience.
  •  Experience with sales / marketing analytics, forecast development as well as developing & executing strategic programs
  •  Working knowledge of B2B sales processes
  •  Positive to have experience in working for/with technical companies/products
