Responsibilities

The Sr. Portfolio Manager plays a key role in curating a Product Portfolio that is optimally positioned to deliver the HERE Strategy.  The Sr. Portfolio Manager will drive strategic-level portfolio decisions via total portfolio analysis, individual business case preparation, and facilitation of HERE-Level Portfolio Decision Reviews.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Collaborate with Product Management teams across our business groups to help them develop objective, defensible product business cases for recurrent Product & Portfolio Review sessions with senior leaders
  • Review draft business case submissions to assess objectivity, completeness, and alignment to internal standards; provide critical feedback to the Product Teams and if necessary present independent/alternative assessment to senior leaders
  • Facilitate discussion and decision-making sessions for the Portfolio Management team, broader Product teams, and the HERE Portfolio Committee/Senior Leaders
  • Analyze the HERE Total Portfolio to ensure alignment to our Strategy; develop criteria and standard lenses through which we assess overall portfolio health and by which we frame recommended portfolio adjustments
  • Build & maintain expertise in our overall Product Portfolio, our HERE Strategy, and our key market segments; look beyond the basic financials to ensure business cases and total portfolio analyses consider 2nd/3rd order effects and strategic potential
  • Partner with adjacent teams (Strategy, Innovation, Rapid Deal Response, etc.) to ensure our total Portfolio Views remain comprehensive and coherent
  • Maintain overall configuration control for our Product Portfolio Taxonomy; Product Nomenclature & Hierarchy, and standard Business Case/Review templates
  • Communicate Portfolio Management processes & standards to relevant stakeholder groups to drive transparency
 

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate Degree Required; 10+ years of experience
  • Exceptional Analytical Capabilities; framing, data gathering, modeling, analysis
  • Excellent oral/ written communication, presentation and facilitation skills required
  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills; ability influence and manage others without direct authority
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office applications required, specifically PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Ability to function and self-motivate in a fast-paced, highly-matrixed and often ambiguous environment
  • English fluency required
  • Domestic and International travel (up to 20%) required
