The GIS Analyst is a member of a data-processing team and is responsible for using source data to create, update or modify HERE digital map databases using our in-house software. In this role, you will be trained and get the opportunity to become highly skilled with HERE software.


  • Work with HERE software, using source data to keep our European maps up to date
  • Ensure compliance with internal database specifications and project requirements
  • As a team perform data quality checks to test validity of data
  • Special project work as assigned
  • Responsible for certain project in scope; planning, cross departmental communication


·        Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

·        Minimum of 2 years’ relevant professional experience

·        Computer skills with knowledge of office software applications

·        Advanced Excel skills preferred

·       ArcGIS or similar is a must, Python and FME is plus

·       Detail oriented

·        Analytical and problem solving skills essential

·        Analysis of error trends and assist in the root cause analysis and corrective action development

·        Planning and organizational skills

·        Good communication skills

·        Fluent in English (and any other EU language (both in writing and speech) is a plus) 

·        Team player

·        International travel experience preferred (to better contribute to our maps)
