Duties & Responsibilites
This role a) provides technical product expertise for pre-sales activities to the sales force, b) promotes technical value of products and services to stakeholders at customers and c) supports HERE Automotive Product Management in gathering technical market requirements for portfolio and roadmap adoption.
- Keep current with internal product portfolio, new industry and technology trends and maintain required skill set, expertise and effectiveness by obtaining appropriate training and applying adequate business processes and tools.
- Regularly align with SBD strategies and key opportunities and provide matching technical consultancy and pre-Sales support.
- Develop solution proposals for customers that are commensurate with their needs and HERE’s business goals.
- Determine business value of customer requests and align with internal stakeholders on bid strategies and product customization plans.
- Position and demonstrate HERE products and help translate customer requirements into new experiences, services or features
- Proactively identify new and innovative ways to respond to new challenges and HERE business initiatives.
- Support pre-sales activities focused on winning new business with Car Manufacturers and other Automotive supplier by qualifying opportunities, providing subject matter expertise, concepting matching product solutions and presenting those to the customer’s stakeholders.
- Prepare and communicate key product messages to customers, prospects and internal teams in alignment with Product Management.
- Train the Sales organization on new products and services or changes that effect the way or options of selling.
