The mission for HERE Enterprise Sales is to grow our HERE content business, HERE Platform business and HERE Traffic business towards B2B / Enterprise target markets, leveraging the growing importance of Location & Geospatial into Enterprise Applications : Asset tracking, Mobile Asset Management, Fleet management, Mobile Workforce management, Geographical Information Systems, Business Intelligence, Big Data Analytics, Internet of Things, Usage Based Insurance, Road User Charging and Indoor Navigation opportunities. In Government, many application scenarios: Smart Cities, Traffic Service, Road planning, Intelligent Transportation Systems, Public Transit, GIS for Local Governments & Municipalities, Emergency services, etc.  Our go-to-market model is a segmented approach, engaging directly with a few Strategic customers (including SAP), working towards mid-tier accounts through VARS and Resellers, and reaching to the long tail of developers and small companies via web-based self-serve model.

 

The Junior Account Manager (internal job title is Sales Specialist) role, based at HERE offices in Berlin, is a new position. This position will be a learning bench for young sales orientated professionals who will be exposed to a broad set of customers and tasks. His/her role will be beneficial in growing the team overall business by providing efficiency, better customer service and by helping to position HERE as The Location Leader.

Responsibilities

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Support and participate in the enablement of sales activities within a team of 4 to 5 sales professionals
  • Supporting sales throughout the entire DACH region. 
  • Establish/expand relationships with assigned or prospect accounts under the supervision of the sales manager/director
  • Perform sales tasks corresponding either to internal processes (contracts, pricing approval, product ordering, information on customer key decision makers), or corresponding to customer facing activities (follow up on customer reports and payments, contract renewals, support in lead generation activities, identification of some new opportunities)
  • Demonstrate initiative and curiosity in developing an understanding of how sales strategy is formulated within HERE, customers' organization and business goals, customer industry and competitive market
  • Learn Metrics to assess performance of products, services and solutions against customer needs and expectations
  • Utilize key value proposition statements, case studies, etc., to effectively position/prepare and demonstrate the value of HERE's products, platforms and solutions

  

Qualifications

 

  • This position is for a driven and ambitious university graduate (Business school or Engineering school with a complementary business education) showing a clear interest and competencies for sales
  • Motivated to develop your sales skills within a technology driven market and environment.
  • Internship (or similar) experience within the sales department of a B2B solution provider an advantage
  • Self-driven and goal orientated personality, showing strong initiative in seeking out new selling opportunities among existing accounts and territories
  • Analytical capability to interpret data and improve customer relationship
  • Strong communication skills, with an ability to motivate and influence key stakeholders/customers Proactive in seeking support from managers to ensure successful negotiations with all parties
  • Fluency in German and English is mandatory.
