Conduct Content Acquisition activity for defined area, provide back end Support to the content acquisition team and conduct market research to identify potential suppliers.
Coordinate basic marketing support, administration and communication related to the sourcing team.


  • Pursues suppliers of geospatial data, arranges meetings, presentations and follows up with suppliers
  • Conducts preliminary source evaluation
  • Negotiate commercial and legal terms to acquire datasets
  • Execute all required contracts and purchase orders and obtains dataset.
  • Support the content acquisition team on their non-sourcing tasks: Tracking, data entry, follow-up, administration related to the supplier management system
  • Provide reports as needed from available systems
  • Conducts market research to identify possible data suppliers.
  • Look after information and communication stream from and to the content acquisition team.
  • Coordinate with other teams to conduct initial supplier data evaluation to ingest data to build or enhance HERE's offerings.
  • Coordinate email and mailing campaigns to approach possible suppliers
  • Create and regularly update supplier inventory and profile including key information related to the supplier relationship.
  • Utilize tools like SWOT analysis to compare suppliers.
  • Basic back end marketing support for country sourcing team.
  • Performs day-to-day activites to meet departmental/project objectives.
  • Requires moderate supervision.
  • Applies commonly recognised concepts within their field of expertise. Shares knowledge with less experienced peers or have high collegial interaction.
  • Raises innovative ideas. Variety of complex tasks within area of responsibility, Demonstrates initiative & contributes to problem solving.
  • Acts with independence and discretion in routine matters. Makes decisions that affect own work.


  • 5+ years relevant experience
  • Bachelor degree (preferred technical or business degree)
  • Experience in business development, procurement and supply chain
  • Good communication, presentation and negotiation skill in Korean and English.
  • Convincing and persuasive door opener mentality
  • Knowledge and/or understanding of Maps and Location-Based service
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Self-starter with ability to operate independently in support of the larger team's goals
  • Result-oriented.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Working experience with vendor management software
  • Ability to gather and analyze data, problem solve, prioritize and organize to achieve stated goals
  • Ability to operate independently with proficient organization and planning skills
  • Comfortable and ability to operate independently in a Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous environment and business dynamics.
  • Travel requirement up to 25%
