 The Global Travel Manager will be responsible for the management and strategic development of the HERE Travel Program ranging from the execution of projects to supporting company travelers.



  • Evaluating, recommending and driving the implementation of new technology, processes, tools or policies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the travel process. Benchmarking external organizations to measure internal performance
  • Developing, implementing and executing on travel-related (air, hotel, ground transportation etc) supplier management strategies to optimize the travel program’s cost, quality and service levels
  • Monitoring and reporting on travel expenditure and expense related policy compliance and recommending strategies to improve compliance
  • Managing the selection, implementation and termination of travel supplier relationships
  • Providing employee training on how to best access the travel website and other travel resources
  • Handling any service related issues with a solution orientated and agile and implementing necessary corrective measures
  • Negotiating skillfully with both internal and external parties to win concessions while maintaining and building on key relationships


  • Bachelors Education or equivalent
  • 8+ years of relevant experience managing a corporate travel program
  • Experience developing travel policies and procedures
  • Ideally experience in managing other procurement categories
  • Solid analytical and problem solving skills; proficient in Microsoft office products
  • Ability to interface / engage with clients and suppliers via strong written, oral, and presentation skills
