Responsibilities

What will you do as a Working Student in Business Intelligence?

  • Help to design data architecture (work out data models and integration plans)
  • Develop data pipelines (utilize tools and libraries to create pipeline definitions, test and visualize them on dashboards)
  • Maintain data infrastructure (plan, configure, deploy and monitor various data-oriented services)
  • Research cool methods and technologies useful for data analytics (learn, evaluate, share)

Qualifications

  • A student of Computer Science, Business Intelligence or related field for at least two more semesters
  • Knowledge of Python or other language with object-oriented and/or functional programming paradigm
  • Good SQL knowledge
  • Knowledge of some Big Data / noSQL technologies
  • Fair idea about distributed computing and scalability
  • Experience with AWS would be big advantage
  • Analytical mindset and attention to details
  • Good communication skills and eagerness to learn
  • Good written and spoken English, German not required

 

Please note that this is a Working student role that requires 20 hours presence time in the Berlin office per week as well as an ongoing enrolement in a German university at least for 6 to 12 months more.
