This position assists in the day to day functions of the accounting department primarily for Data Requests Accounts Receivable transactions. You will handle all data reuests routed through the Data Request mailbox and process for and process cash receipts and help with collection activities for Accounts Receivable.
Maintain the Data Requests mailbox (receive Data Request Forms from AE’s, verify contract DLA page and approve or deny the request, send approved requests to TCS for entitlement)
Manually entitle all catalog items in EDD which are not yet available in DPO (Data Product Ordering)
Respond to all other Data Request related questions related to contract issue resolution, onboarding new user accounts to Flexnet/Electronic Data Downloads (EDD), data availability questions, contract expiration date issues, and evaluation agreements
Created and update the NA DATA REQUEST FORM for AE’s to use when requesting data
Assist with entitling data in DPO for customers in urgent situations
Update customer information in the DPO back-end (Oracle)
Post daily cash for NA and assist SR. AR Specialist with cash related inquiries
Assist in gathering and maintenance of SOX documentation (filing, storing, scanning)
Other duties as assigned
Associates degree and/or college coursework is preferred
One year of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable experience or coursework is highly preferredStrong PC skills with knowledge of Windows applications (Microsoft Word and Excel)
