    This position is responsible for deploying a comprehensive strategy for Lean Six Sigma adoption across HERE.  At HERE, the Lean Six Sigma framework is leveraged for process improvement and employee development, to achieve higher levels of product quality and operation excellence throughout key functions of the value chain.


    This is a highly visible role with significant exposure to senior leadership. The ideal candidate will possess a strong business acumen, superior analytical skills and extensive Lean Six Sigma experience.


    Leverages Lean Six Sigma (LSS) to increase the success of HERE strategic initiatives.

    • Partners with business leaders to develop and prioritize a project portfolio to improve key performance indicators
    • Composes and maintains compelling project charters that identify objectives, scope, financial and other benefits.
    • Leads projects through all the phases of the continuous improvement framework (DMAIC/DMADV/PDCA)
    • Accelerates improvement efforts with the use of proven tools and methods such as Kaizen Blitz. 
    • Utilizes the appropriate tools and soft skills to identify and eliminate waste.
    • Ensures that processes are developed, established and implemented in alignment with the HERE Quality Office Vision, Mission & Strategy.

    Builds a culture of continuous improvement with emphasis on developing Lean Six Sigma experts in each function.

    • Builds an effective relationship network of stakeholders and resources within the organization for project buy-in and sustainment.
    • Drives culture change and fact-based decision making throughout the organization.
    • Develops the organization via training and mentoring associates on the application of Lean Six Sigma methodology and tools.


    • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related technical field required.
    • MBA or equivalent business management qualification desirable.
    • Relevant Professional certifications from recognized business associations (Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, PMP, etc.) are preferred.
    • Experience coaching and delivering training at all levels of an organization preferred
    • 5+ years of experience in facilitating and leading improvement projects including change management.
    • Combination of educational qualification and work experience can be considered for equivalence.
    • Experience applying Lean and Six Sigma tools, applications, methodologies specifically: Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen Blitz, Theory of Constraints, Quality Functional Deployment, Pugh Matrix and Kano Analysis.
    • Experience with Design for Six Sigma a plus: using QFD to translate customer requirements into technical requirements.
