    The Head of Operations m/f role is part of the Business Planning and Operations leadership team for Platform, which is the organization leading all aspects of data and information, processes, portfolio analysis strategic projects and quality initiatives alignment, required to ensure Platform's success.

     

    The Head of Business Operations is responsible for supporting the Platform conducting all aspects of business, Operations and Processes, Measurements and improvements. We are looking for knowledge in all areas of strategy and business operations, including problem solving, process improvement, quantitative analysis, executive communication, and capability building. The candidate must be able to communicate recommendations to senior-level executives, roll-up your sleeves to help drive implementation, and track project impact.

     

    This is a highly visible position and he/she will operate as a strategic partner to our senior leadership team in running major transformation initiatives to drive the necessary change and shift towards a new business operating model to help HERE become the Open Location Company.

    What's the role?

    • Carry-out and support the Platform business unit's vision, mission, and values by providing high quality, data-driven, business operations, and administrative support to achieve a sustainable, efficient, and effective organization
    • Drive Platform wide transformation initiatives focused on alignment with market best practices
    • Lead reporting for organizational and operational topics inside Platform
    • Responsible for Platform's Governance Model, SEP, PPR & Operational Monitoring/Review
    • Lead the establishment and definition or alignment of KPIs at all levels of Platform and communicate their status to senior and executive management
    • Orchestrate and lead process frameworks in the Platform area, to ensure harmonization and alignment with central activities being executed by Transformation Office
    • Participate in cross-functional initiatives and working teams as required at a decision-making or contributor level.  Drive on operational and business process improvements
    • Liaise with respective teams inside BP&O to support, and at times drive, the establishment of end-to-end repeatable business operational processes to unlock business value and engrain capabilities in the organization
    • Ensure effectiveness of Platform's Communications Plan
    • Establish Dashboards where portfolio and operational data can be stored and fetched upon request

     

    Who are you?

    •  Bachelor degree in STEM studies or Finance. MBA appreciated
    • 10+ years of experience in fast-moving work environments, demonstrating both excellent business and operational acumen
    • 2-5 years of experience with a management consulting firm, or equivalent experience in business operations, program/project management, or similar positions in a fast-growing technology company
    • Strong process development and process management experience, with demonstrated process optimization delivering business value
    • Strong program management background, including demonstrated experience in driving cross-functional program execution and escalation resolution
    • Effective change management skills
    • Strong relationship building, influencing, communication, and facilitation skills
    • Experience working in highly distributed organizations in companies with global reach
