    This position is a part of The Customer Support group, which is a critical department in HERE, we are working with more than 90% of all HERE Customers, located in 20 countries with an average of 13 years of experience. The Technical Customer support is the Voice of the Customer, focusing on customer usage of the HERE Product Portfolio.


    We are searching for a customer facing Software / Integration Engineer to spearhead support for the HERE Developer Community working with location services and big data tools. You will be joining a well-established technical customer support organization and taking a key role as we expand our focus to include developer community support, primarily on GitHub and StackOverflow to start. This role will have the benefit of working within a well-established support organization but will also partner closely with HERE’s growing Developer Relations team, supporting their ambitious growth goals for HERE’s developer community.

    What's the role?

    The position is mainly located in the Bangalore Office, your responsibilities are supporting the community and the customer, training the customer, tracking and reporting customer issues and integrating / testing the HERE location data in all customer Products and the HERE Location cloud. As a Developer Community Support Java Software Engineer you are the voice of the Customer and you will represent the customer to our internal groups. 


    • Responsible for Community Support (Github, Stackoverflow and internal channels) for HERE Platforms.
    • Responsible for managing customer needs and expectations internally to ensure internal initiatives reflect customer business and technical requirements.
    • Analyze, debug and resolve customers’
    • Develop and present standard training to customers, including development of proprietary training materials for support of new or existing HERE products.
    • Support HERE Hackathons and customer trainings on demand.

    Who are you?


    You will be successful in this role if you have:


    • A Bachelor’s degree.
    • 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in JavaScript, Java, C++, Web development experience.
    • Pro-active solution orientated approach towards questions.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent written and oral skills, including English.
