    OTA (Over-the-Air) technology is a critical component to leverage the full potential of any connected and autonomous vehicle. The team specializes in open source and open standards-based OTA technology that allows automakers and the broader industry to deliver data, software and firmware to vehicles in a secure, cost effective, and scalable manner. Our flagship OTA solution is aligned with Uptane, the OTA security framework initiated and funded by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Uptane is the most comprehensive security framework available to defend attacks on updates for connected cars.


    We are currently looking for new teammates to help create a market leading OTA solution.     • Write, edit, and proofread technical documentation in English based on the work of our development team
    • Create easy-to-understand tutorials on complex technical information
    • Maintain the consistency between product and documentation
    • Edit and proofread technical- and product documentation before circulation
    • Help respond to customer issues (both by improving docs and through direct communication)
    • Maintain documentation in source control (git)


    • Background in Computer Science, Technical Writing, or an associated field
    • Dedicated work experience as technical writer for complex technical software products
    • Demonstrated success in designing, writing, and delivering high-quality technical documentation (please include work samples showcasing some of your work)
    • Native-level English speaker
    • Bonus points:
      • experience writing technical documents for the Automotive Industry
      • superior knowledge of German language
      • basic knowledge of front-end web dev technologies

    This is a part time contract (20 hours/week).
