    What's the role?

    As a Software Engineer inside the Technical Customer Support division of HERE you will work with a dedicated customer. This opportunity is located in our Berkeley Office and onsite at HERE customer locations.  Your responsibilities are supporting the customer, trouble shouting / debugging on embedded devices, tracking and reporting customer issues and integrating / testing the HERE Location data and the HERE Location cloud. You are the voice of the Customer and you will represent the customer to our internal groups.

    • Supporting the Customer onsite
    • Integrating HERE Software into embedded target devices
    • Testing and debugging the integrated HERE Software on target devices and inside the car
    • Analyzing Customer issues
    • Tracking and Reporting customer issues to the internal teams
    • Review Releases to the customer

    Who are you?

    • Software Engineering degree 
    • You have solid knowledge in C++, QML and Qt
    • You already developed Mobile / Embedded devices
    • Excellent analytical skills
    • Customer Support Experience
    • You are a fast learner with the ability to pick up other software languages. Be pro-active and have motivation to undertake self-learning.
    • You can work to tight deadlines. Customers are number one priority and often this position involves multi-tasking and responding quickly to urgent issues.
