    The Industry Marketing Manager is critical to HERE’s overall understanding and knowledge of our customers and markets and supports the sales team by providing industry-specific positioning for HERE’s products within outlined verticals and markets at a depth unmatched in other roles.  The position provides the opportunity to be a key member of customer account teams and work closely with HERE sales leadership, account executives, and other internal organizations.  This position requires a self-motivated individual completely focused on marketing HERE’s products within a defined industry, and who demonstrates an aptitude for strategic thinking and a desire to play a strong role in supporting our sales teams and customers. 

    What's the role?

    • Create strategic messaging and selling points and clearly articulate HERE’s value proposition and product benefits and differentiators within the specified industry
    • Capture, analyze, understand, and communicate to internal HERE audiences key market insights and trends related to location as it relates to the defined industry
    • Develop compelling customer and persona-specific sales presentations and proposals to help meet revenue targets and/or support sales opportunities
    • Outline a Marcom strategy to generate interest for HERE’s products within the specified industry
    • Cooperate with Sales to plan appropriate lead generation campaigns and facilitate these campaigns as required to ensure success to plan
    • Create and share competitive intelligence for HERE in the defined industry
    • Analyze data sets to provide industry and customer insights as well as sales data to better understand win/loss ratios and other applicable KPIs by use case and according to market positioning

    Who are you?

    • Bachelor’s degree.  (Advanced degree desired)
    • Minimum of 7 years of business experience in the specified industry, at least 2 of which are in a position similar to this role
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong presentation skills
    • Strategic thinker with tactical execution capabilities
    • Strong analytical and modeling skills to analyze data and model scenarios
    • Strong creativity to develop marketing content and collateral aimed at garnering industry demand
    • Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and projects with minimal supervision
    • Ability to assess, manage, and coordinate input from multiple sources
    • Intermediate level MS Office Skills for Word, Excel, PowerPoint (Excel for data analysis and modeling/PowerPoint for communicating analyses, market insights, sales presentations, etc)
    • A customer-focused approach and responsiveness
    • An interest in, aptitude for, and knowledge of new technology
    • Highly developed organizational and analytical abilities
    • Excellent attention to detail and quality orientation
    • Travel (~20%) is required.
    • Ability to travel on short notice required
