    The role is part of the Technical Pre-Sales department within the Automotive Business Solution organization, which is part of the Sales and Business Development team. 

    What's the role?

    This role provides support to the Sales & Business Development business vertical in the pre-sales phase through technical consultancy across HERE’s automotive product and service portfolio, and serves the Automotive product verticals as a source of customer and market demands. This role a) provides very advanced technical product expertise for pre-sales activities to the Sales force, b) promotes technical value of Products and Services to stakeholders at customers and c) supports HERE Automotive Product Management in gathering technical market requirements for portfolio and roadmap adoption.This role leads, manages and administrates a regional Technical Pre-Sales organization.

     

    Your main responsibilities will include:

    • Supporting select strategic and key pre-sales activities focused on winning new business with Car Manufacturers and other Automotive supplier by qualifying opportunities, providing subject matter expertise, concepting product solutions and presenting those to the stakeholders.
    • Leading regular alignment betweenSBD strategies and key opportunities and provide matching technical consultancy and pre-Sales supportfor the complete Sales region.
    • Determining business value of customer requests, align them with internal stakeholders and influencebid strategies and product customization plans.
    • Positioning/demonstrating products and helping to  translate customer requirements into new experiences, services or features
    • Preparing and communicating key product messages to customers, prospects and internal teams in alignment with Automotive Product Management.
    • Training the Sales organization on new products and services or changes that effect the way or options of selling.
    • Reporting regional business status regularly to Head of TPS incl. milestones, KPI’s and accomplishments.

    Who are you?

    You are a strong fit for this role if you possess the following skills and competencies

    • BA/BS, MBA preferred and/or computer science related background.
    • 10+ years’ experiencein pre-Sales or consulting or engineeringrelated customer interactions.
    • 3+ years in leading and managing teams
    • Possess good written and oral communication skills in both English and Japanese.
    • Ability to interface, influence and manage with all levels of an organization.
    • Experience in major account/customer engagement and major deal closure
    • A strong track record of pre-Sales capabilities in Automotive.
    • A big-picture vision, and the drive to make it a reality.
