    The role is part of the Technical Pre-Sales department within the Automotive Business Solution organization, which is part of the Sales and Business Development vertical.

     

     

    What's the role?

    This role provides support to the Sales & Business Development business vertical in the pre-sales phase through technical consultancy across HERE's automotive product and service portfolio, and serves the Automotive product verticals as a source of customer and market demands.

     

    Your main responsibilities include:

    • Keeping up to date with internal product portfolio, new industry and technology trends and maintain required skill set, expertise and effectiveness by obtaining appropriate training and applying adequate business processes and tools.
    • Regularly aligning with SBD strategies and key opportunities and providing matching technical consultancy and pre-Sales support.
    • Developing solution proposals for customers that are commensurate with their needs and HERE’s business goals.
    • Determining business value of customer requests and align with internal stakeholders on bid strategies and product customization plans.
    • Positioning and demonstrating HERE products and help translate customer requirements into new experiences, services or features
    • Proactively identifying new and innovative ways to respond to new challenges and HERE business initiatives.
    • Supporting pre-sales activities focused on winning new business with Car Manufacturers and other Automotive supplier by qualifying opportunities, providing subject matter expertise, concepting matching product solutions and presenting those to the customer’s stakeholders.

    • Preparing and communicating key product messages to customers, prospects and internal teams in alignment with Product Management.
    • Training the Sales organization on new products and services or changes that effect the way or options of selling.

    Who are you?

    You are a strong fit for this role if you possess the followinh skills and abilities:

    • BA/BS, MBA preferred and/or computer science related background.
    • 5+ years experience in pre-Sales or consulting or engineering related customer interactions.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills in both English and local language.
    • Ability to interface, influence and manage with all levels of an organization.
    • A Track record in major account/customer management.
    • A Track record in winning major deals.
    • A Track record of pre-Sales capabilities in Automotive.
    • IoT industry experience
