    Our sales and business devleopment team leads our go to market efforts and is responsible for our engagements with leading customers in the region. This team is looking for a well rounded sales professional with a flair for value based selling and an exposure to selling IT platforms and solutions across industry verticals.

    What's the role?

    In this  role, you will be the go to markets point person in Taiwan , with a responsibility to handle customer interactions and acquisition of new logos for the company.

    Your key responsibilities will include:

    • Identifying, interpreting, and communicating key drivers & trends at the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and within the industry vertical to help shape the strategic direction of HERE.
    • Leading business development activities with appropriate technical and management staff to develop solutions and proposals for both potential and existing customers.
    • Implementing strategic sales plans to generate revenue.
    • Reviewing market analyses to determine customer needs, appropriate price schedules, etc.
    • Participating in trade shows, exhibits, and other customer marketing activities to enhance the use and sale of HERE services and products.
    • Preparing and delivering weekly sales progress reports and monthly business forecasts.
    • Participating in customer contract negotiations.
    • Providing inputs on sales plans and forecasts.

    Who are you?

    You are a seasoned sales professional with a strong understanding of IT platforms and solutions. You prefer to approach sales from the perspective of problems that need solving rather than just push products and solutions to customers. Nurturing relationships and partnerships comes naturally to you and you possess the following:

    • 12+ years years of relevant IT Product or Platform sales experience
    • Understanding of the geospatial industry across various business verticals
    • Ability to develop strategies to ensure that HERE continues as the leading digital map database supplier.
    • Ability to quickly develop a core understanding of the products, related software and hardware platforms, and emerging technologies.
    • Understanding of OEMs key financial measures ,with an emphasis on accurate forecasting and budgeting.
    • Ability to establish and nurture influential customer relationships with an emphasis on facilitating company-to-company executive level relationships.
    • Excellent selling, negotiating, and closing skills.
    • Proficient in value-based selling.
