    GCO (Global Content Operations) OP & S (Operations Planning, & Strategy), is accountable for configuration/control of key GCO planning processes & systems, leads special projects to implement change, and delivers key insights through modeling & analysis to support strategic planning and business/operational decisions.  Our team is considered as subject matter experts in our domain and responsibility is to set and govern processes across GCO. Our team very versatile and get opportunities to work with global stakeholders, cross functional teams, and get expose to various geographic cultures and people

    What's the role?

    This person will be responsible to work with internal tool owners and GCO stakeholders in collecting requirements and delivering tools and reports. This person will requiring SQL queries, in depth modeling  and data visualizations required to address broad business questions and gain actionable insights on overall performance for GCO. Become the go to source within GCO for complex analytics. Enhance GPO’s culture of data based decision making in alignment with HERE data governance framework.

     

    • Collecting requirements from various GCO stakeholders for tool developments, articulate data requirements from the business functions to the technical development team
    • Coordinate with respective tool owners for development and prioritizations, verify and regression test the reports and data extracts build by the team
    • Support deployment of new reporting tools within GCO teams –Dashboards using Metrication data from Microsoft SQL Server, AWS Redshift, AWS DynamoDB, and PostgreSQL databases
    • Perform monthly data extractions for reporting requirements, assist in developing and performing daily reports for the various business functions
    • Work in Tableau reporting environment and the SQL databases that interact with reports hosted in the Tableau environment.
    • Provide relevant data and analytics to support decision making in various initiatives across Global Content Operations and present the data in crisp and actionable analysis

    Who are you?

    • Relevant work experience of 4 to 7 years (or equivalent combination of advanced education and relevant work experience)         
    • Must be comfortable working directly with business users, as well as IT team members, ability to form and maintain relationship with key stakeholders and internal clients
    • Tableau (system administration, report authoring and troubleshooting, data source management) experience with demonstrated ability to produce Executive Level Tableau Dashboard visualization for Senior Management especially Reporting on complex projects
    • Domain knowledge on Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, AWS Redshift, AWS DynamoDB, and PostgreSQL (working with views, stored procedures, tables, and database administration tasks)
    • Must have excellent oral communications skills, and writing skills, should be detail oriented and with good analytical, negotiating and problem solving skills
    • Ability to compile, interpret and summarize project level information into insightful program level dashboard reporting
    • Added advantage - Working with C#, Python and working knowledge on Windows & Linux-based servers, knowledge of other reporting tools – statistical tools will be an added advantage
