    The Legal Administrative Assistant will assist a growing and dynamic international legal department in it’s day to day operations.  Primary responsibility will be to report directly to the General Counsel and the Chicago team in all administrative aspects.  The candidate will be asked to also provide assistance as needed from the other global team members. 

    What's the role?

    • Provides assistance to General Counsel in the following:
      • Maintain calendar and arrange meetings
      • Arrange international and intercontinental travel
      • Track and timely submit business expenses
    • Supports Americas and APAC team with
      • Communications
      • Meeting coordination
      • Couriering documents
    • Maintains Legal Intranet website with current documents and information
    • Compiles and types statistical reports.
    • Coordinates and arranges meetings, reserves and prepares facilities and may record and transcribe minutes of meetings.
    • Make on-going contributions to the development of departmental efficiencies. Involvement in project and ad hoc activities where appropriate. Assist Executive(s) in duties as assigned
    • Coordinate with other executive’s and Board Member’s assistants when needed

    Who are you?

    College diploma preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

    • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a comparable company or Industry.
    • Expertise level of knowledge in Microsoft Office applications and other software as required by division.
    • Maturity to interact with senior executives and employees
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Independent and able to work with minimal supervision.
    • Ability to operate with self-initiative in ambiguous/dynamic situations
    • Ability to work as part of a virtual team and across time zones in the APAC region.
    • Interest in Technology-based industry
