    We are looking for a Sr Manager Technical PreSales that will help support the pre-sales activities focused on winning new business with Customers.  In this role, you will be qualifying opportunities, providing concepting services solutions, and promoting those to stakeholders.
  You will have the opportunity to understand and articulate how our technical assets contribute to offerings proposed to the customer and to the overall value proposition enabling Value-Based-Sales and provide direct and deep technical expertise for opportunities.


    What's the role?


    • Represent the company as a technical expert with customers
    • Build customer loyalty by becoming a trusted advisor
    • Actively support the account teams with solution advice, presentations, and customer communications insuring the success of the sales process (e.g. VBS)
    • Provide feedback to sales, product marketing, and product management on current and future product requirements
    • Build a network and engage with Business Groups and relevant Function Group to keep the full overview of the HERE portfolio and Capabilities
    • Keep up to date with new industry and technology trends in order to maintain skill set and overall effectiveness

    Who are you?

    • Undergraduate degree required
    • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Management Information Systems preferred
    • 4 – 6 years of successful experience in SW development either in platform/cloud or professional services, sales or customer organizations.
    • Candidate has direct experience working in and with Agile development teams and Product Development Life Cycle.
    • Working knowledge of SW development principles (including CI/CD, DevOps; customer requirements)
    • Experience cooperating in complex deliverables across multiple disciplines, including engineering, production, subcontractors, marketing, sales, & distribution, and at varying positions in the value chain
    • Ability to operate in highly distributed teams
    • Ability to with across functional teams, manage issues cross-functionally and remotely
    • Proven ability to interface with all levels in HERE and customers; to manage up, down, and across effectively
    • Prior technical product development and/or architecture experience, preferably gained in a cloud engineering and platform environment
    • Excellent skills in communication and messaging, relationship building and networking for appropriate interaction across all management levels.
    • Demonstrated ability to influence others (persuasion) and strong value selling and negotiation capabilities to achieve a preferred business scenario (e.g. win-win)
