    We are looking for a well-experienced, yet curious and creative Regional Communications manager who has worked in the corporate, technology and/or customer/sales communications fields. You would lead the strategy and execution of the Regional Communications for our APAC regions, based on the global Corporate Communications and Customer Communications strategies.

    What's the role?

    You will play a critical role in the transformation and growth ambition of HERE. You will work closely with the General Manager of the APAC Region as well as the Regional Customer Leadership Team, by contributing to executing its Go-to-Market strategy. The role is based in Singapore and reports to the Director of Regional Communications in HERE. Your main responsibilities will include:

     

    • Developing and executing the Regional Communications strategy for HERE Technologies in the APAC Region based on the global Corporate Communications and the Customer Communications strategies.
    • Working closely with General Manager of the APAC Region and the Regional Customer Leadership Team and acting as a strategic adviser in all communications related topics on a regional level.
    • Building and expanding our audience and reach in the region with a targeted, industry-focused communications mix across owned and earned media and increasing our investment in amplified communications.
    • Developing, managing and steering the execution of regional communications plans, campaigns and projects through a network of agencies in the region. 
    • Leading the Executive Communications support for one of HERE's regional General Managers in the Customer organization and driving their executive agenda.
    • Advancing the visibility and the impact of this Executive both internally and externally and ensuring his/hers seamless, coherent and timely messaging to all stakeholders inside and outside the company.
    • Taking accountability for regional Media Relations, regional Executive Communications and regional Employee Communications and executing the global Social Media strategy on a regional level.
    • Driving the execution of global (external and internal) campaigns and communications projects in the region to ensure regionally adapted, and coherent and timely messaging.
    • Based on guidance from global Employee Communications team, designing and executing change related communications for the Customer organization supporting the transformation into a cutting edge, world-class sales team.
    • Driving, together with HR, the development of the GM and Leaders in the region as great communicators within and outside the company.


     

    Who are you?

    You are a seasoned communications professional from a technology company and possess the following skill sets and competencies.

     

    • At least 8 years of experience in corporate and customer/sales communications and at least 15+ years of total work experience.
    •  You have held senior communications roles in a tech company or communication/PR agency. Excellent written and verbal communications skills (English fluent).
    •  You are able to translate the APAC customer strategy in revenue supporting communications tactics.
    •  You can leverage the full portfolio of a communications, professional yet experimenting with new media like visual storytelling, podcasts, and new channels, using data and insights.
    •  Have a university degree in either journalism, communication/marketing/sales or similar field.
    •  You can partner and debate on a strategic and executive level. You can interpret market and customer data and insights to advice and decide on communications strategies
    •  You have strong interpersonal skills and ability to successfully influence and effectively work across functions and personalities.

    • You are flexible and able to successfully navigate ambiguity and succeed in a rapidly changing, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with multiple priorities. You are an advocate for change yourself.
    • You are strategic thinker and a pragmatic person, who is willing to roll up your sleeves to get the job done.
