    What's the role?

    We are looking for a person who see the value and possibilities of transit data…

     

    The data engineering team in Urban Mobility provides source specific integration solutions for external sourced transit data, using spatial tools, internal processes and skills. Data Analysts, at different levels, are technical project managers, responsible for the execution of individual conversion projects, including technical implementation, communication, QA, tracking and documentation. We work on transit data from around the world to be included in our own and customers applications.

     

    In support of this we are looking for an intern who can work with the team to focus on our transit data backlog and assist in day to day administrative tasks to support the wider transit team. This role is available for students who are looking for an internship as part of their bachelor/master.

    • Support Urban Mobility analysts and Urban Mobility Manager in general administrative tasks as directed.
    • Support Urban Mobility analysts with technical project work on key or large sourcing projects
    • Support developments to ‘productionise’ data processing in the transit team
    • Support other analysts, QA and development colleagues on product and process improvements.

    Who are you?

    You will recognize yourself in the following:

    • Working towards on undergraduate or postgraduate degree
    • Knowledge of / demonstrable interest in, Public Transit
    • Knowledge of GIS systems and processes an advantage
    • Comfortable working in a technology environment
    • Developed analytical, organizational and multi-tasking ability
    • Developed written and oral communication skills
    • Ability to effectively function in a team environment
    • Fluent in English, other languages are a plus
    • You're registered to a Dutch university or "Hogeschool" with a valid working visa and are looking for an internship in the period September to December (potentially longer). 
    • You're living in Eindhoven or willing to travel to Eindhoven on a daily basis!
