    The Head of Product & Portfolio Marketing focuses on increasing product utilization and attachment by leveraging customer and market insights to effectively position HERE’s products. This role will serve as primary linkage point between the Product organization (housing product management and development) and the Marketing and Sales organizations, as well as multiple internal stakeholder functions.

    • Bringing the product, sales and marketing teams together around our customers:Interpret product capabilities, market insights and market intelligence to provide stakeholders with a voice of the customer and the appropriate HERE solutions that best fit these needs
    • Communicating a market position: Defining the required product positioning and messaging that is differentiated, defensible, clear, drives action and leverageable by sales, revenue marketing, and field marketing.
    • Product Launch: Leading the prelaunch preparation by ensuring early and consistent involvement of marketing teams, sales people, channel partners, and customer success teams while driving launch to market success.
    • Arming sales with knowledge and tools: Ensuring content, sales tools and training regarding the intersection of products with buyers, markets, customers and competitors helps drive sales success

    Responsibilities

    • Build, Manage, and lead a cutting-edge product & portfolio marketing team that continuously achieves or surpasses its overall objectives and targets
    • Translate the product vision and strategy into solution positioning and value messaging for the entire portfolio from an ‘outside in’ perspective including what is available today ad in the future
    • Perform detailed market, competitive landscape assessments supporting solution positioning and market entry evaluations
    • Drive and deliver insights on competitive developments, market trends (in partnership with Market Intel), awareness, sales effectiveness, and uptake for product portfolio, advocating for the customer and help to influence product development process and drive innovation
    • Lead the building/maintaining of buyer personas and buyer process maps. This leader will need to be an expert on our buyers, why and how they purchase, their key KPIs for success in their organization, budget authority, etc.
    • Define launch strategy, conduct product launch readiness audits, post-launch monitoring, issue tracking and resolution plan
    • Aid Product Management in the product launch process and appropriate product launch gates, analyzing and size cross-industry potential markets and customer segments to determine highest value opportunities
    • With guidance and in line with the companies governance, serve as a public voice to the market, and act as a solution evangelist.
    • Conduct virtual product demonstrations, evangelize solutions at conferences, and host thought-leadership webinars for current and prospective clients.
    • Deliver solution training to both internal sales team, partners and customers 
    • Collaborates with sales enablement on a well-defined sales enablement plan and execution (e.g. playbooks, battle cards, scripts, presentations, training modules, demos). 

    Who are you?

    • 10-15+ years of technology product management or product marketing experience in a leadership role, preferably in a recurring services business model
    • Significant experience within the platform economy
    • Significant experience in market launching differentiated solutions that target multiple enterprise contacts
    • High motivation level and appetite for fast-paced team environment; readily adaptable to changing market and organizational requirements
    • Demonstrated strong listening and collaboration skills for uncovering both market opportunities and sales needs
    • Networks effectively across the organization and within cross-functional teams (sales, product management, R&D, Services …)
    • Experience working with technology products that have targeted developers with cloud-based services. 
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication and influencing skills
    • Proven experience persuading both internal and external individuals on the value of a solution
    • Ability to perform in a matrixed and global organization
    • Advanced degree in business management highly preferred
    • Inspiring leaders, enjoys to lead teams through times of transformation and developing people – fun to work with
    • Ability to travel 30-40%
