    What's the role?

    The Channel Sales Manager will support the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) with focus on several large OEM's and their dealer/distributor networks. Here Technologies is promoting and selling the use of their navigation and map portfolio within these specific car brands. 

    This role is in principal for a limited period of 1 year to cover for maternity leave. This position is based in our Schwalbach (Frankfurt) office and will require frequent travel throughout the DACH area. 


    In this role you will be driving the following:


    Achievement of target revenues within the region by implementing automotive activities within the region via: 

    • Map Update campaigns.
    • Program of pre-paid Map Update programs, included in the price of the car.
    • Increase the number of cars sold with navigation systems.
    • Support key customers in promoting HERE maps presence in their cars and keeping them up to date.
    • Identify ways to reach a better performance on both short and long terms by proposing improvement and/or innovative solutions & programs
    • Supporting all facets of daily interaction, communications, coordination and management of the region towards Customers.
    • Internally, close collaboration with Account Executives, Channel Development, Corporate Marketing, Channel Services and Customer Marketing department.
    • Share and implement best practice within Channel Sales Europe team and other HERE departments involved or being impacted by her/his relevant action(s).
    • Activity reporting: Weekly reporting, Opportunity tracking via CRM tool, present activities, sales figures, reports, forecasts and all required information, presentation or study requested by hierarchy
    • When required, participation and support to events whether internal or external

    This role reports into the Senior Manager of Channel Sales who is based in our Paris office.



    Who are you?

    Most likely you will recognize yourself in the following profile:


    • University education: Bachelor’s degree required – MBA or similar education a plus
    • Minimum professional experience: 5 years, preferably in automotive or related business (e.g. IT, e-commerce)
    • Good knowledge of main automotive value chain: manufacturer, distribution channels (dealers, leasing, Fleets, RACs)
    • Languages: Native German is mandatory, English needed.
    • Location: Schwalbach Office in the Frankfurt area.
    • Strong customer focus and relationship development capabilities at different level of large organizations
    • Able to communicate externally and internally
    • Superior intelligence gathering, customer profiling, solution selling, negotiating and closing skills
    • Ability to manage and coordinate sales to ensure revenue objectives are exceeded while achieving high levels and continuously improving customer satisfaction
    • Ability to identify, interpret and communicate key drivers & trends within the targeted markets to help implement the strategic activities of HERE. Process oriented with a keen sense of direction and implementation
    • Create an environment of excellence through teamwork and strong personal involvement within the Sales organization and beyond (other HERE departments, Customers & Prospects)
    • Drivers license and preferably with own car. 

    This is a position for a maternity cover. Duration most likely will be around 1 year.
