    This position is a part of the Customer Support group and we are working with more than 90% of all HERE Customers, located in 20+ countries. The technical Customer Support is the 'Voice of the Customer', focusing on customer usage of the HERE Product Portfolio.

    What's the role?

    You will become our technical expert of our brand-new Open Location Platform (OLP) and be building out quality support for customers including developers using our portal, GitHub, StackOverflow, AWS SAR, and other associated entry points for HERE OLP.

    • Train and assist customers in understanding the full breadth of OLP functionality, by leveraging new features and implementing timely updates to all support channels
    • Analyzing, testing and debugging software issues reported by the Customers, tracking and reporting customer issues to the internal teams
    • Develop custom content and execute the communications and audience engagement plans for OLP customer support including online communities
    • Recommend and execute engagement tactics, including incorporating community into internal engineering forums (bringing our development teams closer to the customer), communications strategies, annual conferences and events
    • Seek and collate feedback to shape on-line community management practices and product ideation within OLP
    • Provide feedback to Sales, Product Marketing, and Product Management on current and future product requirements (acts as the voice of the customer)

    Who are you?

    To be successful in this exciting position ideally this describes you:


    • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Operations Research or equivalent are highly welcome
    • Reliable technical experience of which 5+ years in technical pre-sales, technical customer support, technical consulting or similar customer facing role are your base
    • Expert coding skills in and passionate about Java (highly beneficial) and Scala (very nice to have). Python and other scripting languages a big plus
    • Experience in developing highly scalable, real-time streaming and batch processing systems (CEP and technologies such as Fink, Storm, Spark, Kafka, Cassandra, etc.) will help you also
    • Unix/Linux expert that has worked in AWS; experience with TDD and BDD using JUnit and JBehave/Cucumber would be great assets
    • You are capable of working highly independently with regular engagement and direction from the management, great communication skills
