  • What's the role?

    The Senior Business Analyst will work across all four areas of responsibility, and will have responsibility and/or accountability for elements within one or multiple areas.  They will work with stakeholders internal and external to GCO.  Key specified responsibilities include:

     

    • Review, refine, and develop appropriate business objectives for planning & management processes and supporting tools
    • Support strategic and operational planning/forecasting; drive analyses to evaluate operations trends and variances at multiple levels (global, functional, site, program, etc.)
    • Collaborate cross-functionally on implementation of planning systems, Integrated Business Planning processes and techniques for operational improvement
    • Formulate, define and verify business and technology solutions to advance planning and operations, and collaborate internally and externally to define processes and applications meeting the needs
    • Identify and develop KPIs/Metrics and goal statements to drive strategy execution; ensure clear nesting with HERE level strategy execution plan and strong alignment across partner operating groups
    • Distill complex issues and detailed analysis into simple, structured frameworks and drive key business initiatives and effect change through concrete operational plans.
    • Define analytical objectives, requirements, and plans; lead/manage multi-faceted data gathering efforts
    • Develop dynamic models to support multivariate analyses, enable scenario-based excursions, identify drivers, assess sensitivities; maintain model transparency through effective documentation (sources, assumptions, logic, limitations)
    • Present credible findings and recommendations, with an emphasis on getting from the “what” to the “so-what”
    • Work with stakeholders across the HERE Organization to support cross-functional projects
    • Lead special projects, initiatives, and/or internal consulting engagements as necessary

    Who are you?

     

    • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required
    • 3-5 years, including relevant operations experience
    • Experience with supply chain management and integrated business planning principles
    • Superior analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to manage the details while keeping the broader picture in-mind
    • Exemplary Planning Skills; ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects/assignments
    • Able to lead, facilitate large cross-functional meetings/working sessions
    • Knowledge of planning/reporting, business intelligence, and relational database tools (e.g., Business Objects, Hyperion, Crystal, Clarity)
    • Ability to manage a large volume of data to develop analysis and models, keeping the organizational picture in mind
    • Experience assessing performance and operational trends; identifying and implementing measurable improvements using LEAN framework
    • International business experience
    • Consulting experience preferred but not required
    • Product Owner experience preferred but not required
    • English fluency required
    • Domestic and International travel (up to 25%) required
