    What's the role?

    This is a key leadership role within HERE HR Organization in the Americas region. As the manager of this team you would lead the People Enablement function for North America. You would be responsible for an efficient and flawless planning and execution of all regional HR processes pertaining to Employee Life Cycle Management, People Initiatives and Annual People Calendar. You would build and nurture a high performing HR team in the region and execute global strategies in region by partnering with functional business HR group. Besides the above we expect you to be an effective collaborator with the different HR COE’s and you develop and maintain strong relationships with them to ensure we are “OneHR”. Your main responsibilities include: 

    • Partner with regional business leaders to drive geographical specific topics and work closely together with functional Business HR group regarding functional priorities that need to be executed in region.
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders in region on key organizational and management issues.
    • Partner with functional business HR group to develop and implement change management strategies for the region to support critical evolution of the business and achieve desired business results that are sustainable over time
    • Coach business leaders in the region on leadership behaviors, capabilities and practices, employee communication, development and performance management strategies and tactics to promote engagement and a culture of continuous growth and development.
    • Monitor, and drive to resolution, all client service issues within region to the client group’s satisfaction.
    • Set up clear KPI’s for his/her team, monitors and analysis them to drives continuous improvement of the People Enablement function.
    • Aid and coach managers and employees in addressing time sensitive requests; conduct root cause analysis to resolve complex employee relations issues. (i.e. progressive discipline, PIPs, and investigations)
    • Partner with global head of Employee & Labor Relations on topics related to employee investigations, compliance, EE relations and progressive discipline.
    • Be part of (global) HR Project teams in various capacities, in managing various special HR Projects, as assigned – typically in the areas of transformation, process improvement, HR automation, M&A and so on.
    • Proactively integrate HR functional partners into client strategies and projects, providing critical coaching and context to enable partners to make effective contributions
    • Support location specific site engagement activities including coordination of employee events.

    Who are you?

    As an experienced HR generalist you feel at home in a fast paced, high change business environment. To be successful  with at least 5 years of team leadership experience.

    • Strong client relationship management skills and demonstrated experience in developing consultative relationships with business leaders, including the ability to influence decision makers to think strategically and critically
    • Demonstrated ability to take a broad view of the business and deliver HR solutions that balance client and overall needs
    • Ability to think strategically, synthesize complex business/financial data and develop innovative and holistic HR solutions
    • Strong experience in dealing with complex employee relations and progressive discipline issues, conducting investigations, etc.
    • Excellent knowledge of statutory employment laws and best employment practices in United States and Canada.
    • Models excellent judgment and demonstrates the courage to take smart risks
    • Team player who quickly builds trust and collaborative working relationships with business leaders and partners across all HR functions
    • Ability to work effectively in a global network and build the necessary rapport and relationships to be successful
    • Demonstrated ability to proactively embrace and drive positive, transformational chang
    • Effective oral and written communication skills. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Strong attention to detail with excellent prioritization and follow-up skills.
    • Strong presentation skills to effectively deliver training to all levels of employees.

     

    Education Requirements

     

    • Bachelor’s degree with HR certification (PHR or SHRM CP) required. Master’s Degree with emphasis Human Resource Management, Organization Development or Business preferred
