  • What's the role?

    In this role of Technical Services Director, you will be responsible for delivering post-sales implementation & support for all HERE products and services in the APAC region.


    Your main responsibilities will include: 

    • Transforming Technical Services to be more proactive, predictive and customer focused
    • Leading our customers through their journey of creating value with HERE’s location platform
    • Implement best practices in technical support, people development, process and tools to enable customer success
    • Leading a team of 35+ Program Managers and Technical Customer Support Engineers and developing them to their full potential
    • Staying on top of changes in technology and adapting the GTS organization to them.
    • Customizing and executing global GTS strategy and plans in the APAC region

    Who are you?

    You will be successful in the role if you possess the following skills, abilities, competencies and work experience:

    • A Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields
    • 20+years of total work experience with10+ years of leadership experience in a IT sales, pre sales or customer service environment
    • Strong track record of leading Technical Customer Support/IT Program Delivery teams with a focus on APAC customers.
    • Leadership experience in an IT Platform service focused business.
    • Understanding of the different APAC markets and cultural nuances of doing business in this region.
    • Strong understanding of software development languages, processes and methodologies (Agile)
    • Commercial acumen

    Our Global Technical Services (GTS) Team leads the way in post-sales customer support and in managing the delivery of large programs at HERE. The team collaborates with internal content, product and sales teams and interacts directly with our customers where needed. We are looking for a tech savvy and customer centric professional to lead this team in the Asia Pacific region.
