What's the role?

As the Strategic Partner Manager, you will report to the Head of APAC Partner Sales and closely align with Head of Sales – China. You own Strategic Partnerships for HERE China, executing the Strategic Partner Playbook to craft breakthrough opportunities for the company and its partners.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Establishing and cultivating executive relationships and securing buy-in regarding the assigned Strategic Partners;
  • Leading and managing partner initiatives and identifying new strategies & incentives for field engagement and business success
  • Creating and running a governance structure for projects and initiatives owned
  • Acting as a strategic advisor to Strategic Partners and HERE Business Units
  • Positioning, communicating and presenting the HERE ‘Reality Index’ strategy to internal/external stakeholders
  • Working closely with key stakeholders to execute on the next generation Open Location Platform (give/get model), where all sensor data provides the foundation for new products and services that create unique and differentiated value propositions for HERE, its partners and customers
  • Leading the relationships for the assigned Strategic Partners
  • Contributing to a Strategic Partner business plan for alliance solutions and initiatives
  • Executing program & project plans for the assigned Strategic Partners
  • Drive sales through the assigned Strategic partners and owning Partner lead business for the China region.
  • Organizing monthly progress meetings and quarterly business reviews for the assigned Strategic Partners
  • Providing input into the Strategic Partner portfolio strategy, monthly operations reviews, and CEO briefings

Who are you?

You are a problem-solver and influential collaborator who can conceptualize winning strategies, formulate strategic initiatives, and execute under tight timelines.

You also possess the followings skills, competencies and work experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business or related fields
  • 12+ years of work experience managing strategic alliances in a technology or IT Platform company
  • Beneficial to have an understanding of segments like Transport and Logistics, Retail, Tech, Media, Telco, IOT and large Internet companies.
  • Mandatory to have understanding of China partner landscape that focuses on local & outbound business
  • Beneficial to have understanding of Hong Kong and Taiwan partner landscape
  • Strong understanding of strategic alliances frameworks
  • Ability to collaborate and work closely with the Sales organization
  • Strong commercial and contracting skills
  • Negotiation and business development skills
  • Proficient in Mandarin and English
