In this role, you will:

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle of our service
• Develop an innovative, scalable, high-quality set of microservices in a cross-functional team
• Provide technical leadership on the service architecture
• Write clean, simple and well-tested code
• Contribute ideas for new features and identify areas for improvement
• Contribute to continuous integration and continuous delivery of systems and infrastructure
• Collaborate effectively in and across teams
• Provide rotational on-call support to the product and root cause analysis of software and system defects

You are a team player who collaborates with developers, designers, testers, and product managers to create an amazing user experience. You have experience with all aspects of the production software lifecycle. You have good interpersonal skills and feel comfortable coordinating efforts across teams. You are a fast learner, with an eye for detail, and strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

You are a self-motivated, creative, and proactive individual with a strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies. In addition, you should have:

• A Bachelor’s degree and Strong programming skills with 10+ years of experience.
• Strong Back-end development experience with Java (Spring Boot).
• Excellent experience building and using REST API
• Excellent experience building and deploying microservices using Kubernetes
• Excellent experience running production services on the public cloud (AWS preferred)
• Excellent experience with CI systems (Gitlab, Jenkins, or other)
• Python experience is a big plus

You will be part of TED team. Our team’s mission is to increase the HERE developer productivity and efficiency. We accomplish this by providing a set of core tools to streamline the way our developers build production services:

• Customer Lifecycle Management – develop tools to enable HERE Product teams monetizing their services and improve HERE customers on-boarding agility.
• Automate service lifecycle – self-serve portal which give developers autonomy to manage their service components during its lifecycle.
• Test Automation – a set of tools to automate the test execution and reporting in various stages of service lifecycle.
• Documentation services – tooling which support creation of our products documentation and localization
• Metadata discovery – enable developers and external customers to discover and search services and data assets and enable fast business decision making
