As a Senior Engineer on the team, you will play a key role on a small engineering team delivering a new full-stack B2B product and provide technical leadership to junior members of the team.

As a senior engineer on our team, you would…

• Build sophisticated fault-tolerant distributed services in scala and full-functioned frontend applications in angular
• Participate in all states of the development lifecycle
• Continuously refine our delivery process to speed solutions to our customers
• Join a cooperative, creative, nimble team of highly motivated engineers
• Recommend and adopt the latest technologies, tools, methods, and processes, introducing the rest of us to tomorrow’s best solutions
• Build your skills as an engineer, growing to lead projects that ore instrumental to the team’s and company’s success
• Mentor and guide other engineers
• Provide technical design for various features and projects

• Programming chops
  • Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent experience, with 2+ years experience in developing software
  • Excellent coding skills, with the drive to learn and apply new technologies
  • Clear evidence of modern product-development skills: microservices, Rest/GraphQL, multiple levels of testing (unit, component, end-to-end)
• Build, deploy, deliver, repeat
  • Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (Kubernetes, Docker, AWS CloudFormation)
  • Comfortable implementing CI/CD, along with the full gamut of product delivery know-how: builds, releases, monitoring, log-sleuthing, support, etc.
• Team-oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Extras

Some or all of the following would be pretty sweet, if you brought them to the table:

• Spark, Flink, Kafka, or other high-volume, low-latency technologies
• Frontend-friendly: JavaScript, typescript, angular, react, CSS…
• Command line prowess; adept at writing command line scripts; customized dev environments
