• Deep hand-on experience with proven designing and programming skills in Java. Python is good to have
• Ability to understand the software code flows and how it interacts with different components.
• Hands-on experience on creating maintain CI/CD pipelines, GitLab jobs and pipeline orchestration/scheduling
• Solution-oriented mindset, with an ability to build, maintain Java/Python based utility to automate software tests and test process to eventually create effort savings.
• Troubleshooting quality issues and modifying test procedures
• Develop In depth understanding of domain Specifications along with Technical Know How about Processes.
• Understand system architecture and handle technical communications with development teams
• Knowledge on cloud computing is a huge plus
• Set up, maintain test automation frameworks on multiple application platforms, such as Mobile, Desktop, and Web. Build test scenarios and execute regression and system tests.
• Actively participate in test progressions, test executions, reporting and recommendations
• Identify areas of improvement in test process. Suggest, implement solutions
• Execute batches of automation test scripts and suites
• Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies
• Design and maintain Test Plan and automation testing documentations
• Assist in building automation libraries supporting the test automation tool / framework with the objective to improve the testing process
• Collaborate with cross functional groups including Software Development, Operations Engineering, Software Launch and Software users to create and execute test matrices (test scenarios and test scripts) based on software requirements and tool functionality

Who are you?

• Bachelor’s degree (3/4 years - professional college: Technical / Engineering streams) with major/minor in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science/ Engineering or related science/technology field
• 3+ Years of development experience in Java (Python, JavaScript are good to have).
• Exposure to one or more test automation tools like Selenium, Appium, JMeter etc.
• Ability to solve complex test automation and solutioning tasks beyond standard capabilities of test automation tools
• Hands on experience with IDE’s like Eclipse, IntelliJ etc, and Maven is required
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Gitlab is required.
• Cloud architecture understanding and implementation experience is good to have
• Effective problem-solving and analytical skills with Good written and verbal communication skills
• Innovative mindset with an ability to proactively come up with technical solutions.
