As the Senior Director of Professional Services (PS) APAC, you will play a pivotal role in driving business development and spearheading business expansion in the region. You will own the Professional Services revenue/profitability targets (P&L), partnering directly with the APAC Sales SVP/GM and the VP, Global Professional Services. Your primary responsibilities will include not only delivery but also the strategic expansion of services within APAC.Your focus will be on successfully delivering innovative professional services to customers while identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities to drive growth.

You will lead a highly focused team of specialized professional service experts across APAC, working as part of a highly matrixed, cross-functional team. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Professional Services, Product, Customer Success, and Delivery teams, with a significant emphasis on expanding into the wider partner ecosystem. Your strategic vision and business acumen will be crucial in forging new partnerships, enhancing customer relationships, and driving the overall expansion of the professional services business in the region.

Your main responsibilities include

• Lead Professional Services business development and customer interactions to promote and sell current services portfolio including, advisory/consulting, implementation and data services.

• Contributing to, promoting and growing new portfolio additions, including managed services, location intelligence and educational services.
• Building and managing customer relationships and ensuring satisfaction with delivery of services.
• Becoming a trusted advisor by developing and selling innovative solutions that address customer pain points and achieve desired business outcomes.
• Developing and executing on strategies to grow the professional services business and increase revenue.
• Managing all aspects of APAC professional services business including revenue, pipeline, bookings, profitability, utilization and customer satisfaction.
• Leading and overseeing the professional services team, including recruitment, training, development and performance management.
• Developing a strong competency and staying up-to-date on HERE products and services offerings and related technologies.
• Interfacing closely with PS Operations and Resource Managers to secure and prioritize resources.
• Working closely with Sales teams to identify new business opportunities to accelerate market uptake of HERE products and services.
• Cultivating business in target markets including India, Japan, Korea, Oceania, SEA and expansion into China.
• Playing an important role in the HERE APAC Leadership Team, working closely with the GM, sub-regional leaders and supporting functions. In effect, the role is like dual citizenship (Global PS/S&S and APAC region).
• Collaborating with other regional leaders and global teams on new portfolio offerings, best practices, knowledge sharing and project execution.
• Communicating regularly with VP, Global Professional Services on key performance indicators, management related topics, and customer opportunities and project.

You are a dynamic leader with a passion and proven experience in growing world-class, high-performance teams. You have a proven track record of success in managing and growing professional services teams, as well as a strong background in solution selling, customer relationship management and project delivery. You also possess the following skills, competencies and work experience

• 20+ years of total experience with at least 12 years of applicable experience in professional services and at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Validated experience in managing professional services delivery for a software company, SaaS preferably but also Systems Integrators or Consulting firms. Experience with Location technology is advantageous, though not a must have. Experience working with the Automotive sector is a plus.
• Proven track record of growing a business. Developing a strong strategy and competitive advantage and consistently hitting delivery milestones, financial targets, and customer satisfaction goals.
• A successful track record of working effectively in a highly matrixed and fast-growing organization in APAC, growing services revenues, while continuing to improve operational excellence (high utilization, meeting margin targets, focus on quality, customer satisfaction, etc.) 
• Validated experience developing leaders and building and managing a high-performance teams that have built successful and profitable consultative relationships with key influencers in companies spanning a broad array of industries.
• Excellent strategy development and problem-solving skills as well as business development focus and experience (e.g., relative to new products, services, and go-to-market approaches), while possessing a broad level of technology understanding and substantial operational and financial acumen.
• Significant experience running or overseeing multi-million-dollar projects.
• Proven ability to develop customer relationships, understand their businesses, and develop a shared vision for accelerating their business success with HERE.
• Demonstrated success engaging at CxO levels.
• Ability to strategically travel across APAC Region (~25-30%).
• Excellent communication skills in English. Proficiency in any other regional language will be a plus.
• A degree in Business, Engineering or related fields.
