The new HERE SDK provides a set of programming interfaces that enables developers to build immersive native mobile applications while leveraging our powerful and flexible Open Location Platform.

With features such as routing, turn-by-turn voice guidance, search, interactive 2D and 3D vector maps and much more, we allow our customers to develop powerful location-based applications natively on different platforms like Android, iOS and Flutter.

 
What's the role?

Studying various positioning input and understanding how our navigation algorithms work in different cases is an essential part of our work to maintain and improve quality.

As a working student, you will be involved in developing visual tools helping the team to analyze the behavior quicker.

You will participate in the discussion process and gather requirements; your input will be appreciated. Guided by a senior developer, you will learn how to implement features. You will be engaged in the entire process from design to release, with all steps in between.

You are at the end of your Bachelor's or the beginning of your Master's studies? Then you are the one we are looking for.

Success in the role demands the ability to learn quickly, good communication and teamwork skills, flexibility to work in multi-cultural and multi-functional environment, and an interest in location-based services in addition to the following qualities:

• Basic knowledge about software engineering.
• Some experience in JavaScript or C++.
• Passion about building good solutions.

Furthermore, it would be nice if you:

• Have knowledge of the HTTP protocol, REST, JSON, and XML.
• Have some experience with Git.
• Have some knowledge of math-related topics (e.g. probability theory or computational geometry).
