The Vice President of Quality will play a crucial role in driving quality transformation across the organization. This role is responsible for defining and implementing quality KPIs and metrics, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and developing next generation testing methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of customer expectations and will be instrumental in shaping our quality measures to align with industry standards and customer requirements. Additionally, this leader will collaboratively influence and position HERE Technologies as a recognized quality leader with industry analysts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and drive quality transformation initiatives across the organization, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
• Define and establish quality KPIs and metrics, monitoring performance data to identify trends, ensure accountability, and drive transparency through regular reporting.
• Set and maintain high-quality standards across all products and processes, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
• Develop and implement advanced testing methodologies and tools, collaborating with engineering teams to integrate testing into the product development lifecycle.
• Understand and align quality measures with customer expectations, collaborating with customer-facing teams to gather feedback and drive quality improvements.
• Collaboratively influence and help set industry quality standards, positioning HERE Technologies as a leader in quality within the automotive tech and location intelligence industries.
• Engage with industry analysts and stakeholders to position HERE Technologies as a recognized quality leader.
• Drive a relentless focus on aligning quality expectations and deliverables with customer needs, ensuring satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
• Set the company’s quality agenda, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and influence management team (MT) level thinking on required quality initiatives.
• Drive results through cross-functional collaboration, working closely with various departments to implement quality improvements and achieve organizational goals.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in quality management, with a focus on the automotive or technology industry.
• Proven track record of leading quality transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of quality KPIs and metrics.
• Experience in defining and setting quality standards and influencing industry-wide practices.
• Deep understanding of customer expectations and quality perceptions, with a strong ability to align these with deliverables.
• Expertise in developing and implementing advanced testing methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and drive cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong influencing skills and the ability to shape MT level thinking on quality initiatives.
• Experience in positioning a company as a quality leader within the industry, including engagement with analysts and industry stakeholders.
