What's the role?

We are looking for a seasoned Director of Product Management to lead HERE’s portfolio of SDKs and Map Publication Formats (RDF, GDF, XML, GeoJSON, Knowledge Graphs) for the Automotive and Multi-Industry markets. This strategic leadership role involves managing a team of experienced product managers, shaping product strategy, driving innovation, and ensuring top-quality performance and cost efficiency.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Lead and mentor a team of 11 product managers, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
  • Provide guidance, support, and career growth opportunities, ensuring high performance and engagement.
  • Define and communicate a cohesive and innovative product vision and strategy aligned with market needs, customer feedback, and company objectives.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive differentiation.
  • Prioritize product quality with clear KPIs, including defect density and customer satisfaction metrics, to ensure lasting success and cost targets are achieved.
  • Act as the primary liaison for senior management, customers, and partners, ensuring alignment on product goals and progress.
  • Champion customer needs by conducting regular customer interviews and usability testing and incorporating feedback into product decisions to maintain high customer satisfaction.

Who are you?

You are a visionary professional who can manage a team of experienced product managers, drive product strategy, foster (sustaining) product innovation, focus in internal as well as customer-facing quality KPIs, and achieve cost targets. You will be successful in the role with most of the following:

 

  • 10+ years in product management with at least 5 years in a senior role.
  • Proven experience with SDKs and products for Automotive or Multi-Industry markets, including Geocoding, Navigation, and Fleet Logistics.
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams and delivering complex products to market.
  • Strong strategic thinking, data-driven decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Visionary leader with a focus on customer-centric innovation.
  • Strong team-building skills and inclusive management style.
  • Data-driven with a commitment to continuous improvement and exceptional user experiences.
