This position will oversee global and regional teams, with 4 to 5 direct reports and an extended team of over 70 employees to manage Corporate Accounting and Financial Reporting. The teams are distributed across 10 countries and 4 continents. This role is ideal for individuals who excel at observing, recommending, and executing with precision. Your leadership is crucial in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Financial Architecture Transformation: Design and implement new financial processes and systems to support the company's growth and strategic initiatives, including ERP implementations. 
• Strategic Planning: Serve as a financial advisor to the company's leadership team, contributing to strategic planning and policy development.  
• Team Leadership: Build a high-performing finance team capable of supporting the company's evolving needs. Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth. 
• Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.  
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), SOX  and other regulatory requirements, coordinating regulatory reporting as necessary.  
• Internal Controls: Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard the company's assets and ensure the integrity of financial processes.  
• Audit Coordination: Manage the annual audit process, addressing audit findings, and implementing risk management strategies to safeguard the company's assets.  
• Strategic Planning: Serve as a financial advisor to the company's leadership team, contributing to strategic planning and policy development.  
• Team Leadership: Build a high-performing finance team capable of supporting the company's evolving needs. Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Furthermore 

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or RA certification is required  
• Extensive experience in accounting and financial management, in a leadership role with a track record of successful team management.  
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with proficiency in financial software and systems.  
• Familiarity with the specific financial regulations and challenges facing the industry.  
• IPO Experience would be a nice to have
