What's the role?

As a Sr R&D Test Engineer,your main responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining  test process and performing E2E testing across different products
  • Monitoring of running processes to ensure proper functioning of software
  • Performing map data testing and map release activities
  • Conducting investigations and root cause analysis of software and system defects
  • Working closely together with multiple teams, including developer teams and test teams
  • Identifying and providing proposals and solutions with local knowledge for common needs across stakeholders
  • Implementing  test cases and test scenarios to enhance validation processes and quality
  • Improving automated execution and testing on overall pipelines

Who are you?

You will have success on this role if you possess the following skills, competencies and experience:

  • Degree in Software Engineering or related fields
  • Software Testing skills with 5+ years of experience
  • Experience with agile methods, DevOps and tools
  • Ability to work well with a distributed team of strong performers
  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment; etc. Git, Gitlab/Jenkins, GoCD
  • Good communication skills with English and Japanese
