We are looking for a talented Intern who would love to help with a proof of concept, or if it goes well full blown solution to redesign the process of creating a "World Map" product which is a conflation of various HERE data representing administraive boundaries around the world.  The role is a combination of strong GIS skills band the soft skills of dealing with a variety of stakeholders from Product Management and Engineering through to Quality.  The succesful applicant would be supervised remotely from the United States and Europe, but would have experts located in Mexico and India. 

We’re seeking an individual who has a detail-oriented approach, someone who has a flair for the technical but also want to work on other skills like; requirements gathering, problem solving, stakeholder management, and reporting.  You should have strong GIS skills, able to to work with quite large datasets in tools such as ArcGIS and FME by Safe Software, but what you use is up to you.  Most of all, you should be curious and willing to experiment and fail, as what seems and simple brief could in fact turn out to be complicated.
