What's the role?

 

The Business Operations Manager 1 will serve as an operational enabler for Account Executives and Partner Account Managers. This role will focus on driving excellence in account planning, providing timely market and competitor insights, supporting strategic deals through business case development, and enabling impactful leadership account reviews. This position is part of the Sales Operations Center of Excellence (COE) and is critical to shaping and accelerating go-to-market success across our key accounts and partner ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Planning Support:
    • Partner with AEs and PAMs to structure, drive, and maintain effective account plans.
    • Design, deploy, and coach AEs/ PAMs on best-in-class account planning methodologies tailored to enterprise and strategic customer.
    • Ensure alignment with broader regional and global sales priorities.
  • Market & Competitor Research:
    • Provide tailored customer insights, competitor analysis, and market trends to enable sellers to engage strategically with clients.
    • Curate intelligence to support value positioning, differentiation, and account-specific strategies.
  • Deal Support & Sales Enablement:
    • Collaborate with sales teams to co-develop win themes, client-facing pitch decks, and strategic messaging.
    • Support development of business cases and ROI models to articulate value and strengthen proposals.
    • Coordinate cross-functional inputs for large, complex, or strategic pursuits.
  • Leadership Account Reviews:
    • Coordinate and prepare materials for executive-level account reviews.
    • Ensure alignment between sales strategy, progress tracking, and leadership expectations.
    • Help identify and escalate risks, dependencies, or strategic opportunities.
  • Trainings and Sharing Best Practices:
    • Develop templates, toolkits, and training programs to build account planning capability across the sales organization.
    • Share best practices and success stories across the organization to drive scalable impact.

Who are you?

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing or related field; MBA is a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Strategic Planning, Business Analysis, or a related function.
  • Experience supporting enterprise sales teams and/or partner organizations.
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales cycles, account planning, and sales methodologies (e.g., Value-Based Selling, MEDDPICC, Challenger).
  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in Salesforce, MS PowerPoint, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Self-starter with a bias for action, curiosity, and a passion for making an impact.
