Sr Process Systems Engineer is a technically skilled professional who is a process, procedure and tool specialist that provides in-depth and cross-functional guidance to global content operations on tools, processes, specifications and database integrity.  This role requires individual to anticipate and mitigate quality risks impacting database integrity, understanding of evolving business processes & new demands, lead pilots, launches and scale deployments to Data Operation and to create efficient end to end process/solution design to internal and external customers and requires to develop/maintain complex independent Software solutions in programming languages like Java/Python. This role is responsible for maintaining operational collaboration with different departments/teams withing the organization, functionally managing the project teams & mentoring them on technical aspects and collaborates across teams.

As the Sr Process Systems Engineer , your main responsibilities include:

• Lead and Identify potential areas for effective utilization of existing tools across programs and provide inputs for improvement, Identify opportunities to automate commoditized work and simplify complex work
• Deep dive into issues requiring in-depth technical acumen and drive preventive & corrective actions to avoid reoccurrence of issues and ensure timely escalations/mitigations
• Providing development support using JAVA/Python/SQL to Development teams as per requirements
• Act as a primary point of contact between Development and DO teams
• Engage early with global stakeholders to identify upcoming technology and process changes
• Program management of various development activities under UniMap from DO
• Leading Product/Process launch, Scale deployment of tools & processes to new sites, performing POCs/Prototyping and Pilots as per Launch Framework
• Supports the adoption/implementation of new processes and tools by stabilizing the new process at the assigned Global Content site; modifying the new process (if needed) for maximum efficiency and accuracy; suggesting & governing new procedures; and, mentoring the early adoption teams to launch new processes and tools
• Performing Data Analytics using various tools and languages like R/Python, Arc Map, Geojson etc
• Ensure coordination with stakeholders/customer to understand/communicate requirements
• Lead the Process Design, Spatial analytics and deliver E2E solutions as per stakeholder requirements using programming languages like Java/Python, and also based on expertise on GIS and mapping software packages, including ESRI products, 3D Studio Max,
• Perform requirements analysis, understanding the business requirement and design and develop optimized and customized solutions using programming languages like Java/Python for internal/external customers. Solution depending on customer can range from design to testing and deployment.
• Develop engineering on technology initiatives, tool development and process optimization
• Lead and Drive analysis for completed prototype, pilot and scaled projects to identify gaps to address further requirements or specification issues and communicate to relevant stakeholders
• Support the creation and execution of technology deployment plans
• Be involved in research and development activities to understand and identify the product requirements aligned to HERE’s vision and business needs
• Provides expert, fast, and effective resolution to customers technical issues. Is the go-to expert on HERE processes
• Manages incident escalation and drives root cause analysis and incident response
• Lead the business-critical programs, projects and initiatives from TCOE by providing Technical Expertise
• This is an Individual Contributor role

You will have success on this role if you possess the following skills, competencies and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree (3 years college) or related discipline required or equivalent combination of relevant education and 5+ years work experience
• Comfortable using EarthScape and other internal tools to create the HDLM related attributes, with a minimum of 4 years experience;
• Awareness of technical writing concepts, requirements gathering, software development practices
• Good knowledge of the Spatial tools.
• Self-starter and proven record of executing in fast-moving, cross-functional environments
• Detail orientation with strong process-oriented skills and a focus on deadline achievement
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated agility for quick learning
• Good written and verbal communication skills (technical and non-technical) with demonstrated ability to conduct trainings and share knowledge
• Ability to work well with a distributed team of strong performers
• Good communication skills to talk to customers, sales teams, development, and production teams

DESIRED SKILLS

• Experience with mapping technologies, GIS software (ESRI products) and concepts or allied relevant expertise with demonstrated aptitude for planning and organizational skills
• Experience working with Python, SAS, GeoJson, SQL and NoSQL databases with Master level skills
• Experience performing Data Analytics with working Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI
