The HERE Navigation team is building a next-generation, highly customizable embedded navigation product with an interesting technical stack and architecture. In fact, the in-car navigation is just one element of the entire developed ecosystem, other building blocks are i.a. APIs, libraries and SDK. We are an international team of engineers, designers and product managers working in an agile environment and we are looking for an experienced and passionate Lead Software Engineer to join our team.

As a Lead Software Engineer in our team, you will:

• Participate in the full engineering lifecycle from requirements clarification, design, development, integration, testing and release
• Work on challenging problems and collaborate efficiently with highly technical colleagues across teams
• Design, develop and ship exciting new features for the automotive industry
• Contribute to the architecture and design of the product
• Help less-experienced colleagues to accomplish their tasks

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
• Very strong, proven professional experience with TypeScript
• Relevant experience in Web-app development
• Proficient with React, Node.js
• Experience with RxJS
• Open to learn new tech stacks (eg. Kotlin for Android, Jetpack compose, React Native, Flutter)
• Good English communication skills, ability to articulate and clearly communicate complex topics
