What's the role?

This internship is envisaged for a maximum period of 12 weeks.Based in our Yokohama office, your main responsibilities include:

  • Supporting our Global Product Partnership team in sourcing & community requests as assigned
  • Following the global webscraping guidelines when reviewing requested websites/sources and providing local insights on the terms & conditions.
  • Helping to improve/pre-process, 3rd party sources before delivering to other teams
  • Supporting source consilidation to useful formats for internal processes
  • Supporting community program activities and events when needed
  • Translating documents into Japanese, English, or Chinese (optional)
  • Exploring potential open source opportunities
  • Initiatingt new opportunities and exploring potential partners/community (mid-long term)

Who are you?

You will be successful in this role if you possess the following skills and competencies:

  • Currently completing a Degree ( final year students preferred) in Geospatial sciences, Software or related fields
  • Validated communication skills and fluency in English, Japanese or Mandarin 
  • You are a detail oriented team player with an ability to learn fast 
  • Focus on expanding expertise in location technology
  • Proficient in the MS Office Suite
