At HERE, we go beyond standard GPS. We use advanced technologies, like satellite signals, sensors, and radio to provide super-accurate location services indoors and outdoors, down to sub-meter accuracy in 3D.

You will participate in the development and testing of network positioning and high-precision satellite-navigation services. Most of the work focuses on client-side software (on devices), but some parts will also support cloud services. The software you work on will also be used in the HERE SDK.

As part of our skilled and supportive team, you’ll learn about topics like:

• Location algorithms

• Communication protocols

• Data analysis

• Quality assurance and testing, including:Field testing in live environments using a test vehicle (Finnish B-class driving license is required for field testing activities)

• You are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

• You have experience with C, C++, or Java

• You’ve used version control systems like Git

• You’re familiar with tools like JIRA and Confluence

• You have a Finnish B-class driving license (Must have)

• You’re eager to learn, open-minded, and able to work in English

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience in Python programming langauge

• Mobile app development (Android, iOS, or Flutter)

• Experience with Android Debug Bridge (ADB)

• Knowledge of Android Auto or Automotive systems

• MATLAB or Octave for scientific computing

• Experience with location technologies (e.g., GPS, radio, inertial, or vision-based navigation)
