The Sr. Project Governance Analyst will provide strategic coordination and program governance expertise to the Data Ingestion and Analytics (DIA) team within SDE (Spatial Data Analytics & Engineering).  The successful candidate will support across a number of critical initiatives, with a focus on E2E data ingestion activities managed in the SDE Data Value Chain and on key strategic initiatives as directed by the P&T Virtual Teams. This role is designed to strengthen program alignment and delivery coordination through structured oversight, roadmap support, risk visibility, and stakeholder engagement. While focused on governance, there may be occasional delivery responsibilities for defined projects or workstreams.

Responsibilities will include;

• Engaging in requirements elicitation by working with stakeholders and technical teams to clarify business needs, translate them into actionable project and program requirements, and ensure alignment between scope, stakeholders, and delivery objectives.
• Supporting the definition, tracking, and reporting of system KPIs related to project and system health, delivery quality, and operational performance, enabling data-driven monitoring of program effectiveness and identifying areas for improvement.
• Managing initiative tracking, reporting, and risk management across projects and programs.
• Planning and directing schedules, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
• Coordinating cross-functional activities across systems, modules, and virtual teams (VTs), ensuring initiatives and programs are completed on schedule.
• Supporting Data Governance/Stewardship adherence and process documentation.
• Managing project and program cadences, follow-ups, and stakeholder updates to maintain momentum across initiatives.
• Applying operational business practices, monitoring progress, and working closely with related sub-areas to improve efficiency.
• Using sound judgment to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day technical and operational problems guided by policies and procedures.

You are a structured, detail-oriented governance analyst who brings together strategy and execution. You are passionate about enabling program success through coordinated planning, operational discipline, and clear stakeholder engagement. You thrive in matrixed environments and enjoy creating order and visibility across complex initiatives.

You bring:

• 5+ years with a Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent work experience in a project governance, program management, or technical project coordination environment.

• Strong understanding of program governance models, stakeholder engagement, and risk tracking.

• Experience facilitating program roadmaps, initiative alignment, and reporting for strategic programs.

• Expertise in initiative and project tracking, reporting, stakeholder management, and risk mitigation.

• Experience in requirements elicitation, including working with stakeholders to define, clarify, and document project requirements aligned with business objectives.
• Experience supporting the definition and tracking of system KPIs to monitor delivery health, performance, and operational effectiveness.

• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, and Tableau for managing work tracking, dashboards, KPI reporting, and documentation.

• The ability to support small teams or manage defined bodies of work, set daily priorities, coordinate with other supervisors, and ensure high-quality delivery.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate across teams, convey expectations, explain complex information, and handle sensitive issues within a global, multicultural environment.
