What's the role?

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Solution Architect to support and enhance our Varicent Sales Planning platform. The role’s primary focus is on designing, building, and maintaining workflows in the Varicent Sales Planning module and ensuring business logic is updated in line with evolving requirements.

This position will also support upcoming initiatives, including Orderbook Management and a Forecasting Module, by helping design and implement these processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

 

Key Responsibilities

Varicent Sales Planning (Primary Focus)

  • Design, build, and maintain workflows in the Varicent Sales Planning module to meet business requirements.
  • Regularly update existing logic and configurations based on evolving business needs.
  • Manage platform administration tasks such as user access, data quality, and issue resolution.

Support for New Initiatives

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to help design and implement Orderbook Management and Forecasting Module workflows when these initiatives are launched.
  • Participate in requirement gathering, solution design, testing, and rollout planning for these new processes.

Enhancements & Rollouts

  • Lead or support planning and execution of new module implementations, system upgrades, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Ensure smooth system transitions with minimal disruption to the business.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales Operations, Finance, IT, and external vendors to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
  • Ensure effective alignment and communication across teams.

Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor system performance and user feedback to recommend and implement enhancements that improve usability, scalability, and effectiveness.

 

Who are you?

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales operations, systems administration, or solutions architecture.
  • Proven hands-on experience creating and maintaining workflows in Varicent Sales Planning (required).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience with data integration, reporting tools, and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus
