Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate in a cross-functional team to improve a web application and backend APIs.
• Develop and implement new features, enhance existing functionalities, and resolve defects.
• Contribute to a clean and well-tested codebase using modern technologies.
• Apply problem-solving skills to build sustainable and scalable solutions.
• Follow best practices to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.

Tech Stack: Java, Scala, Pekko, MySQL,TypeScript, React, AWS, Docker and Kubernetes

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science or a related field.

• Good foundational knowledge of data structures and algorithms.

• Basic experience with at least one JVM language (e.g., Java or Scala).

• Passion for functional programming principles.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Team-player attitude with a collaborative mindset.

Would be a plus

• Experience with frontend development using TypeScript and React.
• Familiarity with backend technologies like Pekko.
• Exposure to cloud technologies and platforms, especially AWS.
• Understanding of containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.

NOTE: It is a 6 months contract for 20 hours/ week.
