What's the role?

As the global NDS team (currently 8 colleagues) continues to grow in response to the increasing demand for NDS deliveries supporting autonomous OEM drive functionality, we are seeking a talented NDS Project Manager to join our team in Germany or the Netherlands.

As part of our Customer Release and Integration team within SDE (Spatial Data Analytics and Engineering), you will play a pivotal managerial role in aligning customer requirements with our internal data and compiler teams, ensuring customer satisfaction and efficient production planning. NDS, the Navigation Data Standard, is a crucial format for in-vehicle navigation used in ADAS and electronic horizon systems.

As our NDS Project Manager, you will be the primary interface between customers for content products and multiple stakeholders, both internal and external. Your stakeholders will come from various business units, and you will communicate with all areas of the company as an evangelist for our projects. You will also manage the successful delivery of NDS Program releases, ensuring they are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.

Success in this position will require the ability to learn quickly, adapt, and apply knowledge in practice while continuously improving our products and services, as well as growing your own skill set. You will be a pivotal force driving the business success of the NDS product portfolio, with increasing business impact and growing revenue value (currently exceeding €250 million).

As the NDS Project Manager, you will:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for customer communication related to the NDS program(s).
  • Be accountable for product configuration, aligning specifications with customer approval.
  • Take end-to-end responsibility for NDS customer release planning and execution, tracking progress and ensuring on-time, on-scope, and on-quality delivery of the program, including handling escalations.
  • Coordinate deliverables and dependencies with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external, and remove blockers. Define priorities and effectively manage planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure successful release delivery.
  • Communicate complex product information to all relevant HERE stakeholders and customers.
  • Manage the performance of external partners (suppliers).
  • Be accountable for maintaining quality standards and ISO/A-Spice certifications.
  • Ensure enhanced customer satisfaction and increased process efficiency through quality improvement efforts, including coordinating and leading investigations and resolutions of quality incidents, facilitating Root Cause Analysis (RCA) meetings, and more.
  • Inspire managers and leaders to take action and influence wider stakeholders outside GCO for overall portfolio success.

As the NDS Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our NDS program and ensuring customer satisfaction while maintaining high quality standards.
