Responsabilities

You will be working on ensuring the integrity and reliability of HERE’s spatial data assets. You will work across a variety of projects focused on analyzing and resolving complex validation rules, while exploring the potential of machine learning and AI to automate and enhance these processes.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Analyzing validation rules across HERE’s global spatial data library to identify inconsistencies, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
• Resolving validation issues through systematic investigation, rule refinement, and collaboration with data engineering and product teams.
• Exploring and applying ML/AI techniques to automate validation workflows, detect anomalies, and improve data quality at scale.
• Visualizing validation outcomes and insights to support internal stakeholders and customer-facing use cases.
• Contributing to demonstrators, hackathons, and innovation initiatives that showcase the impact of intelligent validation systems.

What you to bring

• Experience in data validation frameworks, especially within geospatial or large-scale data environments.
• Solid understanding of machine learning and AI concepts, with practical experience applying them to data quality or rule-based systems.
• Familiarity with geospatial platforms and tools such as Here Platform,Esri suite, QGIS, FME, or similar.
• Analytical mindset with a passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Ability to document, present, and communicate findings clearly in English.
• A collaborative and curious attitude, with a drive to explore new technologies and approaches.
